Christian Lee: Alibeg Rasulov says Christian Lee will “have a really hard time” in their lightweight MMA world title duel at ONE Fight Night 26

Undefeated Turkish fighter Alibeg Rasulov is hellbent on seizing the ONE lightweight MMA world title from Christian Lee in their title match this week. And while at it, he intends to roughen up the reigning divisional king.

The Hyperion Fighters standout battles 'The Warrior' in the headlining contest at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He is out to give Lee a rude welcome back from a long break by taking one of two world titles in his possession.

Rasulov shared his intentions come fight night in an interview with ONE Championship, saying:

"Of course, I aim for that belt, and he's going to have a really hard time in this fight. I have a zero-loss record and losing is not in my plans."

Alibeg Rasulov is one of the blue-chip recruits of ONE Championship in 2024. He did not waste time showcasing what he is capable of with a dominant decision victory over former lightweight king Ok Rae Yoon in his promotional debut in July.

Lee, meanwhile, will be defending the world title he reclaimed in August 2022 for the first time. He was last in action in November 2022, where he claimed the vacant welterweight MMA world title to become a double champion, before taking a self-imposed break to mourn a family tragedy.

ONE Fight Night 26 will be aired live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Alibeg Rasulov to take advantage of his wrestling skills against Christian Lee in title match

To help him see his world title goals through at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6, Alibeg Rasulov said he will take advantage of his wrestling skills, which he touts as far better than that of reigning lightweight king Christian Lee.

The undefeated Turkish fighter highlighted this in a conversation with ONE Championship, asserting that 'The Warrior' has not faced an opponent like him in his career.

He said:

"I think that Christian Lee has not yet met an opponent like me. My wrestling is better than his. I will force my wrestling on him."

Rasulov is a product of the wresling-rich region of Dagestan in Russia, which has propelled him to a lot of success in his martial arts career.
