Hailey Cowan doesn't see the seemingly invincible Amanda Nunes losing her bantamweight title anytime soon. But she suspects that the legendary Brazilian fighter could start losing focus over the expansion of her family.

In a recent interview with Andrew Whitelaw for Sportskeeda MMA, the 31-year-old American was asked if she saw any top-ranked fighters in the division beating Nunes. Pointing out that it depends on how much focus 'The Lioness' newborn baby takes away, Cowan stated:

"I don't know... I know Amanda's family just grew, she's got a baby now and sometimes that takes focus away... I think she's pretty stinking solid and she's kind of already fought everybody... I don't know, it depends on how much focus is she losing with her new baby. Her wife retired, what's on her mind, it all depends."

The first and only women's UFC fighter to hold gold in two divisions simultaneously, Amanda Nunes is considered to be the greatest women's MMA fighter ever. Despite a shock loss to Julianna Pena at UFC 269, the 34-year-old Brazilian redeemed herself by beating Pena the following year.

Hailey Cowan was set to make her promotional debut at UFC Vegas 70 against Ailin Perez but was forced to pull out of her preliminary bantamweight bout due to an illness.

A graduate of Dana White's Contender Series, 'All Hail' has seven wins in her last eight fights.

Hailey Cowan names former bantamweight champion as her dream opponent

Hailey Cowan will jump at the chance to fight Holly Holm if the opportunity ever arose. The American fighter recently revealed that if there's any one opponent she'd like to fight before they retire, it would be 'The Preacher's Daughter.'

In the same interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Cowan claimed that she has been compared to Holm before and outlined the reasons why she'd love to face the former bantamweight champion one day:

"Holly for sure. I mean, everyone's been comparing me to Holly since I was an amateur, so I would love that. I mean, she's a phenomenal person and an incredible fighter. It would be a lot of fun. At this point in my career, I'm not ready to fight her, but I absolutely would."

Meanwhile, Holly Holm is set to face Yana Kunitskaya at UFC on ESPN 43 in San Antonio on March 25. The 41-year-old American will be looking to bounce back after a split-decision loss to Ketlen Vieira at UFC Vegas 55. She has gone 3-2 in her last five outings.
