Angela Lee is interested in seeing Xiong Jing Nan fight at atomweight again.
‘The Panda’ is the reigning ONE women’s strawweight world champion with two wins and a loss against Lee. ‘Unstoppable’ lost both their fights in the women’s strawweight division, while Xiong lost when she moved down to atomweight.
During an interview with SCMP MMA, the current women’s atomweight queen had this to say about the Chinese world champion moving back to the 115-pound division:
“I’d love to actually see her [Xiong] fight some of the girls in the atomweight division as well, that would be exciting.”

The Lee vs. Xiong trilogy showcased how difficult it is to become a two-division world champion. Both fighters were dominant in their respective divisions but ended up losing in their opponent’s natural weight class. It wouldn’t be shocking to see them fight for a fourth time, considering the first three bouts were all entertaining.

Christian Lee comments on evolving as a fighter with Angela Lee
Christian Lee is two years younger than Angela, and they’ve been training together their entire lives. Now that the siblings are world champions, looking back on their journey must feel surreal. During an interview with the MMA Junkie Radio, ‘The Warrior’ had this to say about training with ‘Unstoppable’:
“My sister and I started fighting so young, and we both started our careers around the same time. So we know how the fight game works, and we're able to just put everything aside and get to work when it's time to work.”
Christian is looking to become the first Lee sibling to hold titles in different divisions simultaneously. ‘The Warrior’ is taking on Kiamrian Abbasov for a shot at the ONE welterweight world title at ONE on Prime Video 4, which can be seen for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.
Meanwhile, Angela Lee will have a slew of challengers waiting for her at atomweight, including Thai superstar Stamp Fairtex and the winner of Ham Seo Hee vs. Itsuki Hirata this weekend at ONE 163. Regardless of the opponent, ‘Unstoppable’ always shows up ready for war.
