Stamp Fairtex has always been a ball of charismatic energy, but her aura looks to have dimmed a little after what Anissa Meksen said about her.

Meksen, who’s always been vocal with her thoughts, and Stamp will face each other in an atomweight mixed-rules fight at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video. The event will air at US primetime from Bangkok’s Impact Arena on January 13.

ONE Fight Night 6 will be available for free to existing Prime Video subscribers in North America.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Stamp Fairtex expressed her disdain over Meksen’s statements over the past few months, saying:

“Her words seem to ruin my reputation as Muay Thai world champion. I can’t tell you which round, but I will definitely finish her by way of knockout or submission.”

Stamp, who’s one of the top stars of the current era, is a former ONE atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion.

The 25-year-old is also the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Champion and challenged Angela Lee for the ONE women's atomweight world title at ONE X last March.

Meksen, meanwhile, is a seven-time kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion. She’s not exactly been humble when discussing Stamp.

The French-Algerian star cut a scathing promo against Stamp back in October 2022 when she beat Dangkongfah Banchamek. In her post-match interview with commentator Mitch Chilson, ‘C18’ downplayed Stamp’s in-ring acumen mere months before their Bangkok showdown:

“She’s a dancer, I’m a real fighter simply,” said Meksen much to the surprise of those in attendance at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Stamp Fairtex formulates her game plan for Anissa Meksen

Stamp Fairtex has already proven that she deserves to be among the top names in ONE Championship during her impressive run inside the circle.

A three-sport athlete and a world champion across two disciplines, Stamp has an unbelievable arsenal, which has made her a dangerous force in whatever sport she's competed in.

Stamp, during a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, gave a brief description of what she’ll try to do against Meksen at ONE Fight Night 6 in her home country of Thailand.

She said:

“I’m planning to do the clinch and be really close to her because she’s [Anissa] is very good at striking. I would try to stay as close as possible and also use a lot of knees.”
