Anissa Meksen does not see her upcoming fight with Stamp Fairtex making it into the later rounds.

At ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video, the two elite strikers will face off in the promotion’s second-ever mixed-rules contest. Meksen knows the task that is ahead of her, but is confident that her striking abilities will be far too much for Stamp to handle.

On paper, Stamp would have an advantage going into this fight thanks to her wealth of high-level experience in both striking only rulesets and in MMA. This is something that she will need to rely on in order to match-up to Meksen, who has proven her elite skill inside the circle with three consecutive wins since signing with ONE Championship.

In an interview with the promotion, she spoke about what she intends to do on January 13 when she comes face-to-face with one of the promotion's biggest stars:

“My goal is to finish her, 100 percent. It doesn’t matter during which round, but a first-round [finish] would be good. So my goal is to finish her in the first round. [Fans can expect] a quick fight.”

In the build-up to the fight, Anissa Meksen added fuel to the fire by referring to Stamp as a “dancer,” downplaying her skills and achievements once their fight was announced.

ONE Fight Night 6 is live and free for North American fans with Prime Video.

Stamp Fairtex claps back at Anissa Meksen

Following a comment made by Anissa Meksen, Stamp Fairtex has got a fire lit under her ahead of their clash. Internationally decorated striker Meksen claimed that Stamp is more of a dancer than she is an actual fighter.

Understandably, the 25-year old Stamp Fairtex was not impressed by these comments. After starting Muay Thai training at the age of six due to her being bullied, Stamp feels like she has a point to prove in not backing down from Anissa Meksen and proving her wrong.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Stamp explained:

"I think I can finish her in the MMA round because I think I’m better than her in MMA. She said her striking skill is better than mine. I want to ask her back, ‘Did you forget that I used to be Muay Thai world champion?’ That means I will never let her bully me without a fight."

Stamp and Meksen have agreed to a mixed-rules superfight. Each round will alternate between MMA and Muay Thai rules.

The highly anticipated match is booked for ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video on January 13. The event is live and free for North American fans with a Prime Video subscription.

In response to the dancing comment, Stamp confidently declared:

"She said I’m a dancer. So, my plan is that after I submit or knock her out, I’m going to dance right in front of her to show that she was just defeated by a dancer.”
