Marina Rodriguez was crestfallen after her third-round TKO loss to Amanda Lemos in the main event of UFC Vegas 64. The Brazilian mustered strength to express her disapproval of the early stoppage and thanked her beloved fans for their constant support.

Her opponent, Amanda Lemos, a well-known power puncher, pounded Marina Rodriguez with heavy blows throughout the contest, but the biggest blow came courtesy of a thunderous right hand at the opening of the third round. The punch wobbled Rodriguez badly, which provided Lemos with the opportunity she needed to advance with a series of quick strikes.

A victory for Rodriguez would have guaranteed her a shot at the strawweight title next. As for Lemos, she inches closer in the title contention picture with back-to-back victories.

Marina Rodriguez is convinced that the early stoppage by the referee cost her the fight with Amanda Lemos in the main event of UFC Vegas 64. She expressed her immediate thoughts in a long message on Twitter that echoed the same sentiment.

However, MMA fans strongly disagreed with Rodriguez's assessment in the aftermath of the fight. Several fans hopped on to the comments section to give their honest opinion on the stoppage.

One fan stated that while he wouldn't call the stoppage premature, he expects the Brazilian to bounce back from her loss soon:
