Fight fans are loving the newest Instagram reel displaying world champions Tawanchai and Smilla Sundell joined together in a friendly sparring session in Thailand.

The Swedish superstar has always had a great number of mentors and teachers in her career as a Muay Thai fighter, but perhaps none as high profile as current ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai.

The two young phenoms joined arms at the PK Saenchai gym this week, to exchange their knowledge of the "art of eight limbs" as they prepare for their next world title bouts.

Their legendary encounter has therefore sparked immediate attention from fight fans across Instagram, with one fan named uragon_bjj sharing the following reaction below:

"I'm excited to fight Natalia" - Smilla Sundell anticipates a tough challenge in her world title bout against Natalia Diachkova

There's a certain amount of toughness you need to have if you're the champion of an elite group of female fighters. Fortunately, we don't have to worry about Smilla Sundell because she embodies the term and more.

The Swedish superstar wasn't fazed when confronted by the fact that Natalia Diachkova has a total of three finishes in her last four bouts.

Sundell instead expressed her excitement in meeting an opponent who will engage with her just like she's done in the past.

Speaking to SCMP MMA, she said:

"I'm excited to fight Natalia. She's had a good, like, win streak now in Lumpinee, so she deserves a title shot too. I think all my fights are tough, so yeah, a tough test it is."
