Brazilian jiu-jitsu star Gordon Ryan has opted to reignite his rivalry with MMA fighter Dillon Danis by offering him a job cleaning his car.

Ryan is one of the most accomplished Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners in the world and is considered to be the greatest No-Gi grappler of all time. The 27-year-old has won a multitude of championships in his discipline, including being a five-time ADCC world champion and a four-time Eddie Bravo Invitational champion.

Gordon Ryan boasts an incredible submission and grappling record of 153-9, including a victory over the controversial 'El Jefe' back in 2017, the beginning of their rivalry.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Gordon Ryan discussed Danis and his recent switch to boxing as he prepares to face YouTube star KSI next year. According to Ryan, if Dillon Danis loses, he's got a job for him:

"He's a master of staying relevant without actually doing anything. I've offered him 10-1 odds, I've offered him every kind of match... He actually randomly messages me on Instagram all the time. He sent me a clip the other day of a clip of Chael Sonnen saying he's the real deal... If this doesn't work out [boxing KSI], I have tons of cars, you can clean those for me. I have like five cars, clean those and I'll give you $30 a week."

Bellator president Scott Coker on Dillon Danis fighting KSI

Bellator president Scott Coker has revealed that he and Bellator have been trying to get Dillon Danis to fight for a long time, but has wished him luck in his boxing opportunity with KSI.

Danis last fought for the promotion back in 2019, beating Max Humphrey via first-round submission. Despite a strong start to his Bellator career (2-0), 'El Jefe' is yet to feature consistently as an MMA fighter.

Speaking to the press at Bellator 289, Coker admitted it's been frustrating as they've wanted to book Danis for a while, but ultimately his boxing bout with KSI was too good to turn down:

"Dillon wants to go take this boxing fight, and I said, 'Good luck, you're gonna have your hands full.' He is still under contract, and we've been trying to get him to fight for a long time. But he saw an opportunity with KSI, and so I wished him luck. It's a good deal for him."
