KSI has found a new opponent for his upcoming Misfits boxing event at Wembley Arena in London on January 14 after Dillon Danis pulled out. It was announced that FaZe Temper, whose real name is Thomas Oliveira, will step in to replace Danis after the Bellator middleweight withdrew from the bout.

After Danis pulled out of the fight, the YouTuber-turned-boxer tweeted that the show must go on and that he would still be competing at the event.

Dillon Danis recently joined Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour to talk about his upcoming fight, so it came as somewhat of a surprise that he still withdrew from the fight after Helwani was teased him about possibly pulling out of the fight. While speaking with DAZN, KSI's manager Mams Taylor revealed that preparation was the reason why 'El Jefe' decided to withdraw from the fight, saying:

"I got a phone call saying that Dillon [Danis] is pulling out of the fight...The real reason from what they said to me is that he's underprepared, he has no coach, he might be struggling with weight."

There was some unintentional promotion for the fight as both KSI and Danis were involved in a confrontation that led to a brawl that resulted in 'El Jefe' getting punched by Anthony Taylor.

Based on the Bellator fighter withdrawing from the bout, it's unlikely that they will attempt to book a fight for a later date, regardless of what transpires at the Misfits Boxing event on January 14.

KSI is still unbeaten as a boxer

KSI has done well against his level of competition since committing himself to boxing. He has a record of 4-0-1 since making his boxing debut in 2018.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer hasn't fought opponents with the notoriety and accomplishments in MMA like Jake Paul has, but he has continued to make himself relevant in that space.

The 29-year-old's most notable fights were against Logan Paul. The two social media influencers fought twice, with their first fight ending in a draw. The London native earned a split-decision win in their rematch the following year. He even offered to fight 'The Problem Child,' but that fight has yet to come to fruition.
