Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was spotted engaging in some playful shadow boxing with Arsenal soccer star Bukayo Saka on the Emirates Stadium pitch after the UEFA Champions League match between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

McGregor, who is currently recovering from a broken toe injury, was seen throwing punches and kicks at Saka, who was trying to dodge the Irishman's playful attacks.

While the interaction appeared lighthearted, some fans on social media expressed concern that McGregor might be taking things a bit too far.

One fan wrote:

"bro trynna injure him😭"

Another fan wrote:

"He’s like the friend that gets drunk and takes it a little too far 🤣"

Another added:

"He couldn’t do that against Khabib 😭😭"

McGregor was originally scheduled to fight Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June. The fight, however, didn't come to fruition due to the Irishman suffering a toe injury weeks before the bout.

Chandler has since agreed to rematch Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 in November, while McGregor is still waiting for an official date for his highly-anticipated octagon return.

Dana White weighs in on Conor McGregor's recent controversial livestream

Dana White remains confident that Conor McGregor will return to the octagon in 2025, despite the Irishman's recent controversial livestream. McGregor, who has been out of action since suffering a broken leg in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in July 2021, recently went on a livestream where he appeared intoxicated and made several inflammatory remarks.

While many fans questioned McGregor's readiness to return to fighting after the livestream, White remains undeterred. Speaking to Kevin Iole recently, the UFC CEO said:

“Well number one I didn’t see it, I didn’t see the livestream. Number two, I had said Conor wasn’t fighting until 2025, it is October 1 of 2024. Conor McGregor has plenty of time... I am going to go with 2025."

McGregor himself has also expressed his desire to return to the octagon in 2025 and even suggested that he would like to fight twice next year.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani, 'The Notorious' said:

“It will be 2025, we will see. My opponent that we got scheduled got matched. It is what it is. My job is to just go to the gym, be in the gym, be in shape. One thing is for sure, whenever it is and wherever it is I will be 100 percent ready. That is all I can focus on… I must, I must, I must. It’s the promised lands, so we’ll see… I’d like it to be Chandler, I’d like to get that squared away. I wish him well against Oliveira but let’s see how it goes.”
