Caio Borralho has accused Nassourdine Imavov of avoiding fighting him and stated that he wants to fight for the title if the bout against Imavov doesn't materialize.
Borralho has been a force of nature since he arrived in the UFC. He is currently 9-0 in the promotion and secured an impressive unanimous decision victory against Jared Cannonier in his last outing. On the other hand, Imavov is currently sporting a four-fight win streak and is coming off a spectacular knockout victory against former middleweight kingpin Israel Adesanya.
'The Natural' appeared in an interview with Home of Fight, where he discussed his UFC future, emphasizing that he wants to fight 'The Sniper' next. He said:
"Everybody knows what I want next, I want Imavov next or the belt. I think that is the fight that makes sense. He is the No.1 [ranked] contender. He is running, I don't know why, because he is a great fighter. I'm not saying that he is not a great fighter. He is not an easy fight or anything like that, but he is not signing the contract. I'm still waiting for this fight, I hope the UFC makes it."

Caio Borralho blasts Nassourdine Imavov and questions his Dagestani roots
Caio Borralho criticized the recent performances of Nassourdine Imavov in the UFC. Borralho appeared in an on-street interview with FULL SEND MMA, where he questioned the Dagestani roots of 'The Sniper' and also downplayed his recent victories against Israel Adesanya and Jared Cannonier.
"People say like oh β he finished Cannonier, [that] was an early f*ck*ng finish and he was losing the fight. After that, oh β he finished Adesanya. Okay, it was a great job, but he was getting pieced up in the first round by a guy [that had] three straight losses. He is not in the best moment of his career, so nothing to be proud of.
Borralho added:
"I heard [that] this guy is kind of a Dagestani. I think that the Dagestani people are ashamed of him. I heard that the Dagestani guys like to fight. They fight in the street, they live a rough life. But this guy is a f*ck*ng pussy. He is not Dagestani."
