Chael Sonnen recently claimed that he was not convinced that Jiri Prochazka was really injured and cited the absence of a shoulder sling as what aroused his suspicions. 'The American Gangster' also brought up Prochazka's doping test history with USADA and his vacating of the light heavyweight title after the injury.

Last year, it was revealed that 'Denisa' was the United States Anti-Doping Agency's (USADA) most-tested athlete across all sports, with a whopping 62 samples submitted in 2022. Later that same year, Prochazka was forced out of his title defense against Glover Teixeira at UFC 282 due to a shoulder injury suffered during training.

However, Chael Sonnen is suspicious of the circumstances surrounding the injury, considering the Czech native subsequently vacated the title so as not to hold up the progress of the division. In a recent video, Sonnen referred to Prochazka's video response to Hill's title win and stated:

"I just can't help but notice, there's no sling. A shoulder so bad that they took a belt off the guy, they moved on with it... That doesn't require a neoprene sleeve?... I gotta tell you, this is a little bit weird... We were told that a guy who was drug tested a record amount by USADA... All of a sudden pulls up with a shoulder injury that doesn't require so much as a band-aid?"
