World Grand Prix winner Chingiz Allazov is locked and loaded for his first kickboxing world title match in ONE against defending king Superbon Singha Maywyn at ONE Fight Night 6.

The long-deferred matchup will finally materialize this Friday, January 13, in US primetime, which North American fans, for one, are pressed to see.

For ‘Chinga’ Chingiz Allazov, his matchup with Superbon has also been a long-time coming in the literal sense. Almost overnight, the Belarusian kickboxer bounced back from a disappointing debut to become the ONE featherweight kickboxing World Grand Prix winner after three successive victories.

Now finding himself at the No. 1 spot in the standings with a new shiny silver belt, Allazov knew his opportunity to face Superbon would eventually come.

Speaking to ONE Championship, the Belarusian native said:

“After Sitthichai, we started preparing. We start training. Maybe like eight, maybe more than eight months, we waited for this day.”

Allazov’s decision victory over decorated kickboxer Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in the final truly cemented ‘Chinga’s’ stakehold for the world title.

His aggressive, forward style of fighting, paired with his speed and elite-level striking, is a cause for concern for the undefeated world champion. Fans are therefore stoked to see how this fight ends. Will Allazov find the knockout early with his pressure or will he succumb to Superbon’s master game plan?

North American viewers can find out on Friday, January 13, live and for free with an Amazon Prime Video subscription.
