Allazov (Left) will finally face Superbon (Right) this Friday

In his long-anticipated clash with Superbon, Chingiz Allazov is prepared to play the long game if it means getting the victory. Extremely confident in his ability to last in the fight, ‘Chinga’ believes that as the contest goes on, he will get stronger.

At ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video, Allazov will face Superbon for the ONE featherweight kickboxing world championship. With a chance to take the title and number one pound for pound spot from the Thai star, this is a fight that Allazov has been chasing for a long time.

Since Allazov won the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix last year, it's been clear that the two elite strikes will face-off, but both the fans and the fighters involved have had to wait some time for it to actually happen.

As he gets ready to finally trade strikes with the champion, Chingiz Allazov believes that he knows his opponent’s game well and that he will walk away the victor by remaining focused and consistent.

In an interview with ONE Championship he said:

“He doesn't like a boxing fight, he doesn't like a power fight. They work with speed. But he likes to counter-attack, to go back, back, pow. But now maybe he has tactics but maybe he likes to go forward. Maybe they will say after the second round, my power will be down. But that's it. I'll work for maybe 10 rounds for me no problem, even twenty rounds.”

Chingiz Allazov reveals when he began training for Superbon

ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix winner Chingiz Allazov has had to wait patiently for his first kickboxing world title match in ONE. On January 13, he will face defending world champion Superbon Singha Maywyn at ONE Fight Night 6.

The long-awaited matchup will finally take place this Friday, January 13. Live in US primetime, the entire event is free to watch with an active Prime subscription.

After losing in his ONE Championship debut, ‘Chinga’ bounced back by winning three consecutive fights to become the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix champion.

Emerging as the No.1 contender for Superbon’s world title with a championship belt of his own, the two were on a collision course from that very moment.

Speaking to ONE Championship, the Belarusian native said:

“After Sitthichai, we started preparing. We start training. Maybe like eight, maybe more than eight months, we waited for this day.”

After defeating decorated kickboxer Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in the final of the tournament, Chingiz Allazov recently announced himself as a huge threat to Superbon.

With his aggressive style of fighting, backed up by his speed and technique, he has the potential to push any opponent back and put them under pressure.
