In the build-up to ONE on Prime Video 4, Christian Lee has acknowledged the scale of the task he has ahead of him. On November 18 (US primetime) from the Singapore Indoor Stadium, ‘The Warrior’ will move up to the welterweight division to challenge Kiamrian Abbasov.

In the biggest fight of his career, Lee has the chance to become the youngest-ever simultaneous double world champion.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Christian Lee spoke about the significance of his next challenge:

“Every performance is your biggest performance. And going into this fight, this is everything. Everything that I’ve worked towards has led to this moment, so yeah, definitely. This is going to be my biggest moment to date.”

Lee will challenge Abbasov, who will be returning to his weight class after falling short of achieving double champion status of his own. 'Brazen' won the welterweight championship three years ago but has only been able to defend it once due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Lee avenged his loss to Ok Rae Yoon in his last fight, putting on a devastating performance to win back his lightweight championship.

Christian Lee will face Kiamrian Abbasov in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 4 when ONE Championship returns to the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 18.

Christian Lee says Roberto Soldic fight could be in his future

ONE lightweight champion Christian Lee will attempt to write his name into an elite category of fighters at ONE on Prime Video 4.

Whilst winning the welterweight championship is a huge test in its own right, keeping hold of both belts is something Christian Lee has his eyes set on. Posing a threat to Lee being a defending double champion are a wealth of welterweight contenders, including ONE’s newest high-profile signing Roberto Soldic.

In an interview with The MMA Super-Fan, Lee was asked what he thought of the Croatian MMA sensation. ‘The Warrior’ gave his take on potentially facing Soldic down the line if he is successful in his next fight:

“I think that if everything goes according to plan, and I’m able to claim the welterweight title, I think that I can see the two of us squaring off in the circle. He’s a very dangerous opponent, and I think it will make a quite exciting fight for the fans, definitely going to end in a finish.”

Roberto Soldic will make his highly anticipated ONE debut against undefeated welterweight star Murad Ramazanov at ONE on Prime Video 5 in December.
