Conor McGregor addresses P.J. Gallagher and Paul McGrath, says he wants to be the bigger man

Conor McGregor has spent much of the past 24 hours feuding with comedian P.J. Gallagher and former footballer Paul McGrath. The former UFC double champ recently shared a video of himself boarding a private jet while claiming that he wants to be the bigger man in the situation.

McGregor began feuding with Gallagher after the comedian joked that Britain could have the Irish fighter in response to a clip of Laura Sanko mistakenly implying that 'Mystic Mac' was British.

The unranked lightweight took offense and responded accordingly, leading McGrath to label him a bully.

In response, McGregor challenged the two men to a two-on-one boxing match.

After sending out a few more tweets and retweets, McGregor claimed he was moving forward with positivity before stating:

"Leave a mad man be, especially if that man is worth a few B [bucks] and has the brains of a pc with the strength of a chimpanzee, there’s only one of me, Mr UFC Conor Mac G."

The UFC's biggest pay-per-view draw of all time then uploaded a video of himself boarding a private jet and stated:

"Youse won this round, lad, yeah? Youse won this round. Fair play to you, have a good one... Lad, youse won this round, fair play to you. I'll catch youse on the flip. Got to bow out and say, 'You know what, let me be the bigger man, and bow out, yeah.' Hahahaha."

McGregor showed off his expensive watch as he made the claim to be the bigger man, indicating that he was merely being sarcastic.

Chael Sonnen warns Conor McGregor over middleweight move

Conor McGregor, who has even fought at featherweight, recently teased a potential move to the middleweight division. Former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight title challenger Chael Sonnen advised McGregor against going up several weight classes.

Speaking on his podcast, Beyond the Fight, Sonnen stated:

"Conor can't just go up to 185. We want to see you win a fight in your weight class. We're not sure you can beat these guys... If you have the arrogance to believe that you can go up to 185 pounds... I gotta tell you about the time I tried to fight Daniel Cormier. I got a real hard talk, and I'm thinking maybe it's time we sit down and we have that same talk."

While McGregor has gained plenty of size during his nearly 18-month hiatus, his height and reach would leave him undersized as a middleweight. It is currently unclear who he will face upon his return to the octagon or what weight he will fight at.
