Conor McGregor describes the experience in the TUF house and gym

Conor McGregor is featuring as a coach for season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter and has shared his first experiences with the fighters in the gym.

The UFC recently announced that 'The Notorious' was making his way back to the octagon as a coach for TUF season 31. Following the show, he will fight his rival coach Michael Chandler later this year. In a recent interview with Oscar Willis for The Mac Life, the Irishman spoke about his experience as a coach for the second time:

"This one's a lot different. I'm also incorporating my own training now, starting to get into it also. It's great to get on the mats, and good day today. The lads have that energy, and that anxiety and the mental with them now, that's settled. They'll be able to go home and settle and rest...And then tomorrow it's on again. They've gotta carry themselves like it's on everyday."

Conor McGregor won the show the last time he coached against Urijah Faber in season 22. However, he believes that he was not fully focused on training the fighters back then and believes he will do a much better job now since he will begin training for his return fight as well.

Conor McGregor gives his predictions for his fight against Michael Chandler

Conor McGregor spoke out about his coaching rival for TUF season 31. The Irishman is paired up against Michael Chandler in his second appearance on the show. In the same interview with The Mac Life, 'The Notorious' revealed what advantages he has against Chandler and also gave his predictions for his return fight:

"I think I'm just gonna slice through him. I think I'm a little too slicey for him than anyone else he's fought. A little too snappy and whippy and I think I'll slice through him."

McGregor also went on to reveal that their fight will take place at 185 lbs, which is the middleweight division weight limit. 'The Notorious' currently weighs more than 200 lbs, so he has a lot of cutting to do to get to his goal.
