Conor McGregor is currently being sued by his former friend and teammate Artem Lobov. The Russian is seeking five percent of the proceeds from the sale of 'Proper 12' Irish whiskey brand.

Lobov's lawsuit claims that he was instrumental in the creation of the brand. The former double champ recently took to Twitter to call out Lobov, challenging him to a fight.

In the initial post to his Twitter account, McGregor had stated:

"Artem is trying to sue me and my father for defamation now as well ahahaja oh lord, god bless. Artem you look like an uncooked sausage of a thing. Jump on the pan for minute pal you look rough mate. God bless ya pal." [sic]

McGregor then shared a voice recording in which he added:

"Artem is a waffler, na, na, na, na, hey! Na, na, na, na, hey! Artem is a waffler, na, na, na, na, hey! Na, na, na, na. Bro, we had, we had a chat about our love for reptiles and our love for rats. Do you not remember that f**king chat mate, no?"

After sharing a photoshopped image of Lobov as a sausage, McGregor returned with another voice recording challenging his former friend to a fight, tagging Lobov as he stated:

"This is a call out to Artem 'the fanny, fairy pad' Lobov. I'm challening you to a fight tonight. 10:30 p.m. I'll meet you down at SBG Concorde and we'll fight for the whole lot. We'll fight for the whole lot. Having lawyers message me about defamation and all this suing and all. You're a little fairy, you're a little blouse mate."

Artem Lobov is yet to respond to Conor McGregor's call out. However, it is unlikely that the pair met at SBG Concorde, a local gym in Dublin, Ireland. It remains to be seen how Lobov's lawsuit will turn out.

How much money is Artem Lobov looking for in his lawsuit against Conor McGregor?

Artem Lobov's lawsuit insinuates that he was instrumental in helping Conor McGregor come up with the idea for 'Proper 12' whiskey company.

The whiskey brand was sold by McGregor to Proximo Spirits for a reported $600 million in 2021. According to Lobov's lawsuit, he had an agreement with the Irishman that entitled him to five percent of that money, an amount that would total $30 million.

It is unclear if this agreement ever took place, and if it did, whether it was in writing or if it was just a handshake agreement.

If it is the latter, that'll make it hard for Lobov to prove his case.
