Conor McGregor recently praised Raul Rosas Jr. for what he has achieved at such a young age and wished him good luck in the future.

The 17-year-old is the youngest fighter ever to sign with the UFC and will be debuting at UFC 282. The event is set for this Saturday, December 10, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During his recent media day interview, Rosas Jr. was asked about his dream of becoming a UFC champion by the time he's 20 years old and his next opponent doubting him, joking that he wants to become "Santa Claus."

The youngster replied:

"I'll make his dream come true, too... Just like he's making my dream come true. By beating him on Saturday night. It's a win-win for everybody."

Conor McGregor seemed very impressed with the Mexican-American's poise and wit on the mic, giving his compliments in a quote-tweet with the interview clip. The 'Notorious' wrote:

"That's incredible! The youngest ever. Good luck young man, in your career with the @ufc."

'El Nino Problema' is set to take on Jay Perrin in a bantamweight bout. He will be walking into the octagon on Saturday undefeated in his MMA career with a perfect 6-0 record.

It should be no surprise that Conor McGregor is appreciative of the youngster, considering the Irishman himself made his professional debut at a young age in Ireland before being signed by the UFC a few years later.

Conor McGregor fires back at Joe Rogan over steroid use allegations

Conor McGregor does not seem keen on burying the hatchet with Joe Rogan. The Irishman was recently accused of using steroids by the UFC color commentator and fired back.

On a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience with Derek from More Plates More Dates, Rogan implied that the primary reason behind McGregor removing himself from the USADA testing pool is PED usage by the Irish superstar.

However, Conor McGregor is not known for holding back and in true 'Notorious' fashion, tweeted out his response to the accusations made by the popular podcaster.

In a now-deleted tweet, the Irishman said:

"Joe looks like his p*ss melts his knickers, in the company that long and never took a fight hahaha @ufc oh tae kwon do competition , call the cops hahahahaah"

McGregor has been a busy man lately. The 'Notorious' has been involved in heated exchanges with Dustin Poirier, Nate Diaz and Tony Ferguson within the past few days.

While he has teased a return to the octagon next year, nothing has been made official and it remains to be seen who he faces on his return.
