Conor McGregor is set to fight Michael Chandler on an undisclosed date and at an undisclosed weight class.

Contestants who will be fighting under the tutelage of McGregor and Chandler tried to guess what weight the fight would take place at. Before the start of the latest season of TUF, the contenders had a media day where they interacted with reporters and conducted interviews. During one such interview with The Schmo, fighters predicted what weight the fight would take place.

Rico DiSciullo, Kurt Holobaug, Roosevelt Roberts, Nate Jennerman, Brad Katona, Landon Quinones, Aaron McKenzie, and Cody Gibson all believe the fight will take place at 170 lbs. Conor McGregor has also previously teased that he would make his return to the UFC at 170 lbs. However, since the date of the fight nor the weight limit has yet been confirmed, these are merely speculations.

Fellow Irishman Lee Hammond had an interesting answer to the question:

"I don't know, see what weight Conor (McGregor) wants to fight at and I'm sure they'll do it at that weight."

Other fighters believe the fight could take place at 155 lbs, putting the winner of the fight directly into title contention. Both Conor McGregor and Chandler are looking to get back to winning ways after a recent streak of losses.

Merab Dvalishvili reveals what Conor McGregor told him when they met at the UFC PI

Ahead of his fight against Petr Yan, Merab Dvalishvili and Aljamain Sterling were at the UFC Performance Institute to train for the fight. Also at the PI was Conor McGregor, who bumped into the pair and took photos with them. Following his win over Yan, Dvalishvili revealed what he thought of McGregor and also about a compliment the Irishman gave him:

"I was so happy to see him, I always wanted to say thank you for whatever he did for the sport, you know. He did tell me that he likes my level change and shoot and said this is beautiful and he likes my work. That was big compliment from him. He's warrior, and he's such a nice person."

Conor McGregor has began training for his return fight against Michael Chandler and is training alongside his team members for TUF 31. 'The Notorious' will make his return this year with hopes of becoming champion again.
