After making a permanent move to the UFC and winning three straight in the octagon last year, surging flyweight prospect Muhammad Mokaev has put pen to paper on a new multi-fight deal with the promotion.

Entering the company with an extensive amateur career followed by a seven-fight undefeated streak after turning professional, the well-rounded talent took no time to announce himself on the big stage. Just 58 seconds into his promotional debut at UFC London in March 2022, the 125lber managed to snatch a guillotine choke victory over Cody Durden.

In a post on social media earlier today, Muhammad Mokaev announced that he's officially come to terms with a new UFC deal and thanked all who supported him on his journey thus far:

"Today I have signed [a] new multi [fight] deal UFC contract! Thank you to all my supporters! See you all in London"

Following the aforementioned victory over Durden, Mokaev scored a dominant decision win over former LFA flyweight champion Charles Johnson in his next outing. During the fight, the prospect broke the record for most takedowns completed in a three-round 125-pound fight with 12.

The Dagestan-born Brit is showing promise rarely seen in athletes around his age group. He proved just how well-versed he is in his most recent fight by scoring a beautiful armbar submission win over gritty BJJ black belt Malcolm Gordon.

'The Punisher' has called for a number of high-ranked opponents but will have to build his way into title contention as he eagerly attempts to become the promotion's youngest-ever champion, a record currently held by Jon Jones.

When is Muhammad Mokaev's next UFC fight?

After extending his record to 9-0 last time out, Muhammad Mokaev is desperate to get back into the octagon and compete once again, but his return was almost delayed due to an injury he suffered whilst training.

Despite dislocating his shoulder just last month, the determined 22-year-old returned to England to accelerate the healing process in order to be cleared to fight at UFC 286 in March.

His wish has seemingly been granted as Mokaev is scheduled to welcome Dana White's Contender Series alum Jafel Filho into the cage when the London event rolls around next month.

Though unknown to some, the Brazilian is looking to spoil the show inside The O2 arena by getting off to a strong start in the octagon.
