UFC lightweight Dan Hooker has hilariously revealed that MMA fans are sending him messages asking for free tickets if they can beat him in a fight.

The New Zealander joked that while it's all fun and games, he'd rather be called out by a UFC fighter so he can appear at UFC 284 in Perth, Australia. 'The Hangman', born in New Zealand, is vying for a chance to appear on a card that's close to home.

MMA fans challenging Dan Hooker have chosen to do so at the wrong time as he returned to form at UFC 281 earlier this month. The 32-year-old fought Claudio Puelles off the back of a two-fight skid and proved he's still worthy of his No.11 lightweight ranking.

'The Hangman' was calm and collected throughout the fight against Puelles, who spent much of the time diving for a heel hook. Hooker then showed off his experience as he began to utilize kicks to his opponent's open body. The New Zealander won the fight via a second-round TKO after landing multiple body kicks that eventually crumpled the 'Prince of Peru'.

Dan Hooker kisses Joe Rogan's head in post-fight interview

Dan Hooker's UFC 281 performance isn't the only thing he'll be remembered for as his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan also caught the headlines.

In the midst of euphoria after his win, the 32-year-old laid out a challenge to any fighter on the roster for UFC Perth in 2023. His emotions then took over and he planted a kiss on the head of the UFC color commentator.

In an interview with Submission Radio, 'The Hangman' looked back at the hilarious moment. According to the New Zealander, the lights in the arena were bouncing off Rogan's bald head and he felt compelled to kiss the 55-year-old:

"Joe Rogan's head, it was glistening. It was talking to me. It said, 'Kiss me, Dan Hooker. Kiss me.' It tasted sweet! It tasted sweet, he had the sweat. It was magical. It was like, 'Aah.' It was one of the best things I've ever tasted in my life, if I'm not gonna lie, if I'm being honest. That's a good-smelling man! That was a good-smelling man, well taken care of head. Not smelly at all. Delicious."
