Dana White recently shared his thoughts on Cain Velasquez's release from jail.

Velasquez was held in custody for over eight months following his arrest on charges of attempted murder. The former UFC heavyweight champion chased a man who had allegedly molested a young relative and fired several shots at the vehicle while in pursuit. Velasquez injured the step-father of the man accused of molestation, and was subsequently arrested.

There has been an outpouring of relief and support for Cain Velasquez and his family after he was finally granted bail. Dana White was recently interviewed by TMZ Sports and was asked to share his thoughts on the same:

"I'm hoping that the judge that looks at this case goes, 'You know what? This family has suffered enough.' As if the kids haven't suffered enough in this thing, they lost their father for almost a year. So hopefully the real justice gets served in this case and Cain Velasquez, who is a good man, a good father, a good husband, get's to be at home with his family."

Dana White expects a war in the main event of UFC 281

UFC 281 will be underway at Madison Square Garden tonight. The pay-per-view headliner pits middleweight kingpin Israel Adesanya against marauding Brazilian challenger Alex Pereira.

Pereira defeated Adesanya twice during their kickboxing days. In terms of striking prowess, 'Poatan' is the only middleweight who can match 'The Last Stylebender', which is what makes this encounter so enticing.

While Adesanya has drawn criticism for his controlled but lackluster displays in his last few title defenses, UFC president Dana White believes the middleweight champion's upcoming bout is going to be a war. At the UFC 281 pre-fight media scrum, White said:

"I think Pereira's gonna push the fight. He's gonna turn it into a fight, and I just expect it to be a war. I don't think this is gonna be that type of [boring] fight."
