No.5-ranked ONE strawweight contender Danial Williams believes that the judges will not be involved when he crosses paths with fellow heavy-hitter Jeremy Miado.

The pair of streaking 125-pound sluggers will settle it in an all-out brawl at ONE on Prime Video 3: Lineker vs. Andrade on October 21 inside the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur. The high-stakes battle will be broadcast live on US Primetime via Prime Video.

Given both fighters’ extensive track record of putting their opponents to sleep, ONE fans are curious to see whose chin holds up. However, as far as ‘Mini T’ is concerned, he’ll be the one leaving with his hand raised that evening, while Miado will be staring at the arena lights in defeat.

Speaking to ONE Championship in an exclusive interview, Danial Williams confidently claimed that he’ll be keeping his unbeaten MMA record inside the circle intact:

“Someone’s definitely getting stopped here, but it’s not going to be me. It doesn’t matter when it comes. All that matters is that I go there and get the finish.”

Danial Williams inserted himself into the strawweight rankings after racking up three straight wins since transitioning to MMA. The 29-year-old Australian-Thai striker was undeterred by his setback against ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon under Muay Thai rules last year.

He took the lessons from that beating and vented his ire against Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, Namiki Kawahara, and Zelang Zhaxi, in his last outing.

After guaranteeing victory, Danial Williams said he wants the winner of the Joshua Pacio vs. Jarred Brooks strawweight world title tilt in Manila on December 3.

Moreover, the Kao Sok Muay Thai and Scrappy MMA product said he wouldn’t mind stepping in at short notice if either Rodtang or Joseph Lasiri are unable to fight for the strawweight Muay Thai world title next month.

He said:

“Getting the win and then stepping into a World Title fight would be the perfect scenario. Even with Rodtang and Lasiri too. Either one of those men pull out, I’d love to slip in there.”

Danial Williams breaks down Jeremy Miado’s "weakness" ahead of their fight

Danial Williams is a methodical fighter both on and off the circle.

Less than a week until he trades leather with Jeremy Miado, the cerebral striker watched countless tapes of the Filipino’s previous fights and believes his skill set is far more superior. ‘Mini T’ shared in the same interview with ONE:

“I believe my power, speed, angles, and mobility will be my advantages against him. And I just feel that I’m going to be a little bit difficult for him because he’s never really fought a striker who can move like me. He’s a bit linear, straight-lined, and can be predictable with his shots. That’ll be his weakness that I want to exploit with my movement.”

Like Williams, Miado is no stranger to weathering adversity himself.

‘The Jaguar’ bounced back from his defeat at the hands of Dejdamrong with spectacular back-to-back wins over Miao Li Tao. The Filipino wrecking ball stretched that streak to three with a TKO victory over compatriot Lito Adiwang last March. One thing’s for certain though, Jeremy Miado won’t be an easy fight for anybody, as much as Danial Williams thinks otherwise.
