Danial Williams is gearing up for the biggest opportunity of his career — and he's hoping to replicate his clean knockout of Zelang Zhaxi.

'Mini T' is gearing up to challenge Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. Williams is stepping in on short notice in what will be his first world title shot under ONE Championship.

In his last win back in July 2022, Williams scored a flush one-punch knockout over China's Zelang Zhaxi:

"Danial Williams is a SAVAGE 😳 Will we see another KO when 'Mini T' clashes with Rui Botelho on March 24 at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video?"

Danial Williams says it’s ‘awesome’ getting recognized in Thailand as a sports star

'Mini T' is a Thai-born Australian striker who is finally gaining some much-deserved recognition in Thailand. He's very grateful for the love, telling ONE:

"100 percent. It's cool getting photos here and there. The young kids at the gym and some people in the area. So yeah, exactly. It's kind of like a little bit of a spinner. It's nothing crazy, but it's a little spinner. Because I'm used to being absolutely nobody, which is also awesome. I do like that, to be fair. But yeah, it's a little bit cool. I'm getting these little photos at the gym with our little Thais now. It's so awesome."

His stardom will catapult to another level if he's able to dethrone Superlek at ONE Fight Night 8. The world champ was originally scheduled to face ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, but 'The Iron Man' withdrew due to injury.

Williams was already booked to face Portugal's Rui Botelho at ONE Fight Night 8, but Rodtang’s sudden injury meant that ‘Mini T’ was going to be bumped to the main event scene.

Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24 to watch Danial Williams challenge Superlek for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

All of the action will be broadcast live and for free across North America to Amazon Prime subscribers.
