Submission grappling superstar Danielle Kelly is ready to bring the heat when she makes her return to the CIrcle at ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham on Prime Video.
On September 29, Kelly will be seeking redemption when she heads to Singapore Indoor Stadium for a showdown with ONE Championship debutant and 2023 IBJJF world champion, Jessa Khan. The two women will square off in a match to crown the first-ever ONE atomweight submission grappling world champion.
But for Danielle Kelly, there’s far more on the line than 26 pounds of gold. Kelly will also be looking to redeem herself after suffering a decision defeat against Jessa Khan under the WNO banner two years ago.
Speaking with Morning Kombat, the photogenic submission sensation suggested that she will do whatever it takes to secure a win over Khan and capture the ONE world title.

“There’s a fire inside me so I just hope she’s ready this time because I’m not going to be holding back. I’m really excited to just prove myself,” Kelly said.
Thus far, Kelly has looked nothing short of spectacular in her run with the promotion. Since making her debut in 2022, she has yet to suffer a loss inside the Circle, delivering strong showings against Mei Yamaguchi, Mariia Molchanova, and Ayaka Miura. But one would argue that none of those women will pose as much of a threat as Jessa Khan.
Representing Cambodia, Khan enters the contest riding a wave of momentum with five straight victories and a 2023 IBJJF title. Will Khan close out her year capturing a ONE world championship, or is it Danielle Kelly’s time to shine?
