Filipino fighter Danny Kingad sees the trilogy fight between reigning ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious 'Mighty Mouse' Johnson and rival Adriano 'Mikinho' Moraes in May going the distance.

The title fight between Johnson and Moraes will headline the landmark event ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video on May 5 in Broomfield, Colorado, USA.

It will be a rubber match between the two fighters who split their first two fights, which both ended in a finish.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Danny Kingad shared that he does not see a finish happening in the third fight, owing to familiarity between the protagonists:

“I think this time, this fight will go to a decision. They both like to time their offense and have tremendous footwork. They’ll have a technical match until the time runs out. Although the first two fights ended in finishes, I think this third fight will go the distance.”

Danny Kingad is going to be an interested observer at ONE Fight Night 10 as he could be an opponent of the winner of the title fight in the future, being the No.3-ranked contender in the division.

He is currently deep in training in preparation for his return to the circle on February 24 at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video in Bangkok, Thailand.

Danny Kingad will go up against Indonesian Eko Roni Saputra at the famed Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, which is live and free for all Prime Video subscribers in North America.

Danny Kingad isn’t sure Fabricio Andrade can replicate the same success against John Lineker in rematch

Team Lakay’s Danny Kingad likes Fabricio Andrade's chances in his rematch with John Lineker for the vacant ONE bantamweight world title later this month but does not see him as dominant as in the first fight.

Speaking to The MMA Superfan, ‘The King’ said he expects former champion Lineker to make the necessary adjustments in the redo at ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24 and that Andrade will not have his way:

"I don’t really know if Fabricio Andrade will be as dominant as he was in the first fight against John Lineker. But I’m sure he’s coming in as the favorite to win it."

Andrade was on the way to winning the bantamweight world title at ONE on Prime Video 3 last October until he accidentally struck Lineker in the groin in the third round, which led to the fight being stopped and declared a no-contest.

The two will now settle the score at ONE Fight Night 7 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Danny Kingad will be part of the event card, facing off against Indonesian Eko Roni Saputra.

Kingad has had 13 fights in ONE, winning 10 of them to date. He also fought in the final of the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix in October 2019 but lost to eventual tournament winner and current world champion, Demetrious Johnson.
