Dillon Danis blames Jake Paul throwing objects at him years ago for mic attack on Logan Paul, shares footage

Dillon Danis has suggested that his mic attack on Logan Paul is retaliation for having objects thrown at him by Jake Paul years earlier.

Tensions boiled over between Danis and Paul whilst having a sit-down face-to-face with Ariel Helwani yesterday. The trash talk immediately started from both sides before 'The Maverick' stunned fans by bringing out Chris Hanson, the former host of US TV show To Catch A Predator.

The situation soon escalated, however, after the pair squared up and Paul attempted to throw an object at Danis. The former Disney channel star missed, whereas Danis had precision aim and launched his microphone at him, immediately drawing blood and leaving a nasty cut on his opponent's face.

Danis' entourage also got involved during the scuffle, with a member of his team hitting Logan Paul on the head with a water bottle.

The scuffle has since gone viral, and Danis has now addressed his reasoning for firing back at his opponent.

In a video uploaded to X, the 29-year-old edited together footage of when Jake Paul threw objects at him whilst driving by in his car, as well as the footage of his scuffle with Logan.

Despite the controversy, Danis and Paul are still expected to go head-to-head at the AO Arena in Manchester this weekend. Their bout is the co-main event, with KSI and Tommy Fury also set to clash.

Fans react to Dillon Danis' microphone throw at Logan Paul

The rivalry between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul reached its boiling point this week after the pair had to be separated by security during their sit-down face-off with Ariel Helwani.

Paul attempted to hit Danis with an object, to which the Bellator star responded by launching his microphone at the face of 'The Maverick'. The incident has since gone viral, with fans wasting no time in letting their thoughts be known.

One fan hilariously joked that Danis should be expecting another lawsuit, writing:

"Dillon getting sued again😭😭."

Another stated that Logan Paul should 'know' his limits:

"Logan should have known his limit fr. He should be careful."

One fan even suggested that Dillon Danis' reaction was over the top because of how close together they were standing. They added:

"Pretty sure he threw the mic at him point blank, Dillion took it way too far."
