Floyd Mayweather and popular rapper NBA YoungBoy are relatives of each other, with the rapper being the father of Mayweather’s grandson.
Floyd Mayweather’s daughter Iyanna Mayweather and Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, a.k.a. NBA Youngboy, have a child named Kentrell Jr. who was born in January 2021. The grandson of TBE could potentially be following in his famous grandfather’s footsteps. Videos have surfaced of the two-year-old practicing boxing with Mayweather himself.
NBA Youngboy was 2022’s most streamed artist on YouTube. The Baton Rouge native has developed a cult following off the success of his singles "Make No Sense," "Outside Today" and several other hit songs.
In addition to having a child with Iyanna, the hip hop artist has 10 other children with multiple women. In 2020, Iyanna Mayweather was charged with stabbing one of the mothers of YoungBoy’s children. The daughter of former boxing superstar, Iyanna was then sentenced to six years of probation for the incident.
YoungBoy seems to have had legal troubles of his own off-late. NBA Youngboy recently faced two federal gun charges in October 2021. The rapper was then released on $1.5 million bail and ordered to live under house arrest.

Former MMA fighter reveals why he pulled out of fight against Floyd Mayweather
Liam Harrison was set to face Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout in London but withdrew due to Injury. Former Bellator fighter Aaron Chalmers stepped in as a replacement.
Harrison spoke of the surprising offer from Mayweather’s team in a recent interview with Asian MMA, where he said:
“Mayweather’s interested in fighting you (and) this was like a couple of weeks before the fight and then the next minute I’m on Facetime with Mayweather’s manager and he’s like ‘right this is gonna happen’.”
Harrison was reportedly recovering from a knee injury at the time but thought a boxing bout that only involves punches wouldn’t be an issue.
“It’s only boxing, just hands and there’s no kicking no twisting, should be alright.”
Harrison subsequently withdrew from the bout, following which Chalmers stepped in to face Mayweather in an exhibition bout on February 25th in London at the 02 Arena.
