Dustin Poirier reacted to rumors of Charles Oliveira vs. Michael Chandler potentially being in jeopardy.

On Nov. 16, the UFC will travel to the Madison Square Garden in New York for a pay-per-view event, UFC 309. The main event features Jon Jones defending his heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic, while lightweight contenders Oliveira and Chandler clash in the co-main event.

Chandler was initially scheduled to fight Conor McGregor in June before the latter pulled out with a broken toe. Chandler might be facing another potential cancellation, as rumors have sparked about Oliveira needing a new opponent.

Oliveira reacted to the report on X with a "thinking emoji." Poirier, who holds a win against Chandler and a loss against Oliveira, responded to the Brazilian fan favorite's comment by saying:

"I'm in"

Poirier initially reacted with this message on X:

"Charles really out vs muscle milk mike??"

Dustin Poirier last fought in June when UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev submitted him in round five. 'The Diamond' was expected to endure a longer layoff, but a potential short-notice opportunity could bring him back to settle unfinished business with Michael Chandler.
