'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade is not wasting time. He is demanding that a rematch be set up against his Brazilian rival, 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker. The two fought at ONE on Prime Video 3 in a headliner that ended in a no contest due to an accidental foul.
The third round of their match saw a back-and-forth war, but the fight was called off as Lineker was unable to continue from an accidental groin strike. 'Wonder Boy' feels that he was just moments away from capturing the prestigious ONE bantamweight world championship.
The 25-year-old Brazilian fighter is now urging ONE to set up the rematch. While speaking to SCMP MMA, Andrade pled his case:
“Everybody wants to see the rematch. Chatri [Sityodtong] wants to see the rematch. ONE Championship wants to see the rematch. The fans want to see the rematch. I think that’s the most likely thing that will happen. For me, I have no problem. It’s probably going to be the rematch.”

While Andrade awaits his rematch against 'Hands of Stone', the bantamweight throne remains vacant.
Lineker was the reigning world titleholder but was unable to make the championship weight limit ahead of the ONE on Prime Video 3 main event. He was stripped of the title and was allowed to fight, but only Andrade could walk away as the world champion.

Fabricio Andrade's skills have impressed Demetrious Johnson and Joe Rogan
It takes an exceptional amount of skill for a fighter to impress all-time great 'Mighty Mouse' Demetrious Johnson. During an interview on Joe Rogan's podcast, the American athlete discussed how much he respects the game of 'Wonder Boy'.
'Mighty Mouse' explained:
“He’s a nasty man. Fabricio Andrade, absolutely amazing, his fight with John Lineker. John Lineker, he throws punches straight, hardly. It’s usually the wild, winging punches, right? He was timing that hook.”
Joe Rogan agreed, adding:
“F**king beast man... F*cking beast. I’m like, look man, these guys are out there. He was putting the boots to Lineker.”
