Brazilian fighter Fabricio Andrade is excited to catch ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13, particularly the mixed-rules showdown between Anissa Meksen and former two-sport world champion Stamp Fairtex.

ONE Championship bantamweight contender Andrade shared that he is expecting an exciting fight between Meksen and Stamp. That's because they are both competitive and go all out each time they take to the circle.

Many pundits and observers have installed hometown fighter Stamp as the favorite in the atomweight MMA and Muay Thai mixed-rules showdown. Andrade, however, believes that Meksen should not be counted out and that the outcome of the match is very much up for grabs.

Andrade said in an interview with ONE Championship:

“It’s [Meksen vs. Stamp] gonna be great, man. I’m excited for the fight. I actually live in the same building as Anissa so I see her all the time. It’s gonna be a crazy fight. It’s gonna be interesting to see. I’m probably gonna fly to Bangkok to watch this one.”

While looking forward to ONE Fight Night 6, which is ONE Championship’s initial live offering for 2023, Fabricio Andrade is also busy training in Phuket for his rematch with Brazilian countryman John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker for the vacant bantamweight world title.

Andrade and Lineker first met last October at ONE on Prime Video 3. The bout unfortunately ended in a no contest as Lineker was not able to continue after absorbing an accidental strike to the groin from Andrade in the third round.

Lineker vs. Andrade II is slated for ONE Fight Night 7 in February.

Fabricio Andrade breaks down potential matchup with Stephen Loman

Apart from his upcoming rematch fight, Fabricio Andrade is also keen on taking on equally streaking Filipino bantamweight contender 'The Sniper' Stephen Loman in the future.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Andrade shared that Loman has caught his attention. He believes that the Filipino is going to be an interesting opponent.

Andrade said:

"It’s hard to say. Is he [Loman] really good, or is he getting good opponents, you know? So, we’re just gonna see. Now he gets his chance. He was BRAVE champion, now he’s gonna get his chance and we’re gonna see how good he really is.”

Fabricio Andrade has not lost in five completed fights in ONE to date, with the last two at the expense of promising bantamweight contenders Jeremy Pacatiw and Kwon-Won Il.

Loman, for his part, is coming off an impressive unanimous decision win over former ONE Championship world bantamweight king 'The Flash' Bibiano Fernandes last November at ONE on Prime Video 4. He sports a 3-0 record with the promotion.
