Fabricio Andrade knows he will have the 'home' advantage at ONE Fight Night 7

At ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, the bantamweight division will finally have a world champion when John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade meet for the vacant world title.

After the events of ONE on Prime Video 3 where the Brazilians met for the first time, the world title was left without a holder due to the fight ending in a no-contest following an unintentional low blow by Andrade.

Putting on a great performance in the fight, Fabricio Andrade left the cage with a lot of confidence despite not being crowned the new ONE bantamweight world champion.

On February 24, he will get the chance to rewrite the ending to his first fight with the former world champion and get the rewards that his display inside the circle deserved.

After having lived and trained in Thailand for the past several years, Brazil’s ‘Wonder Boy’ is excited to have the support of the fans at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, he said:

“All my friends will be there. My friends, the people who travel with me, my coach, and the fans. Everybody's going to be there. It's going to be giving me extra motivation to perform well. I can't wait. I just want to be inside the cage and make things clear, and knock him out this time.”

Fabricio Andrade promises complete domination of John Lineker in rematch

After coming so close to becoming the ONE bantamweight world champion in his first fight with John Lineker at ONE on Prime Video 3, Fabricio Andrade is ready to settle the score.

Despite his performance against the former world champion, Andrade’s crowning moment slipped away from him after he unintentionally landed a strike to his opponent’s groin that caused a no-contest.

On February 24, ‘Wonder Boy’ will get a chance to put things right when he faces Lineker in a rematch at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. Given his success in the first fight, the plan is to go in there and produce an even more dominant display this time around:

“I already proved that I’m the better fighter but this time he just won’t be able to get any advantage over me you know. I’m gonna control the whole fight until he’s over, until he’s done and he can’t keep going.”

Though his opponent will have surely learned some key lessons from their first encounter and will attempt to make the second fight look completely different, the goal for Fabricio Andrade is very simple. Replicate what he did the first time around but this time, leave with the world championship like he should have at ONE on Prime Video 3.

Lineker vs. Andrade 2 will headline ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24. The entire event is live and free for North American viewers with an active Amazon Prime subscription.
