No.1-ranked bantamweight Fabricio Andrade is willing to fight anyone for the vacant ONE bantamweight world championship.

Challenging for the bantamweight crown at ONE on Prime Video 3, ‘Wonder Boy’ appeared to be just seconds away from capturing his first ONE world title when disaster struck. Hurting former titleholder John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker with a well-placed knee to the body, Andrade swarmed in, going for the kill. Throwing another knee, the blow landed low, sending Lineker to the canvas in horrific pain.

Unable to continue, the bout was called a no-contest. With Lineker recovering from his injuries and no bantamweight titleholder, ONE could potentially match up Fabricio Andrade with another top contender.

Enter Stephen Loman and Bibiano Fernandes. The two bantamweight stars will square off at ONE on Prime Video 4 in a bout that is certain to have major title implications.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post, ‘Wonder Boy’ revealed that he is more than willing to fight the winner of Loman vs. Fernandes should Lineker be unable to return in a timely manner:

“Yes, definitely. I will do it. I’m ready to fight anybody, any of those guys. I have always made it clear that I’m here to fight anyone, and I want to be active. So it’s going to be up to Lineker if he wants to come and fight me or if he wants to wait for me to become world champion.”

Fabricio Andrade went straight back to work following ONE on Prime Video 3 outcome

Understandably disappointed in the no-contest result of his ONE on Prime Video 3 main event with John Lineker, Fabricio Andrade revealed that he canceled his vacation to Europe and instead went back to work in Bangkok:

“I was meant to go to Europe. That was my plan after the fight. Everything changed and I landed in Bangkok. I just had one week to think about everything and decide what I’m going to do next.”

Ultimately, Fabricio Andrade landed on seeking a rematch with ‘Hands of Stone’ as soon as possible. ‘Wonder Boy’ is more than willing to face another top bantamweight contender should Lineker be unavailable or uninterested in running back their Prime Video main event, but he recognizes that everybody wants to see the two square off once again inside the circle.

“Everybody wants to see the rematch. Chatri [Sityodtong] wants to see the rematch. ONE Championship wants to see the rematch. The fans want to see the rematch. I think that’s the most likely thing that will happen. For me, I have no problem. It’s probably going to be the rematch.”
