Fabricio Andrade’s fighting style is enough to catch anyone's eye, but if his striking doesn’t grab your attention, his hairstyle certainly will.

Boasting a flashy new color scheme in each of his fights, Andrade has said that this has nothing to do with superstitions. Interestingly, it helps him get in the zone come fight night. Speaking to ONE Championship, Fabricio Andrade shed some light on why he comes into each fight with a signature look:

“I don't believe in luck, I believe in hard work. Dyeing my hair is my thing. When I dye my hair, I get into fight mood. But that ended up becoming my trademark, and people are always wondering what color my hair will be in the next fight.”

Andrade’s next fight will be the biggest of his career when he challenges John Lineker this Friday at ONE on Prime Video 3. He has already got his look for Friday on lock:

“I already have in mind what I'm going to do for the next fight, and it's going to be pretty cool. But it's a surprise. But I can say that it will have more than one color (laughs).”

“I live for this” - Fabricio Andrade shares his motivation in training and where he gets confidence

At ONE on Prime Video 3, Fabricio Andrade will step into the spotlight for the biggest fight of his career.

‘Wonder Boy’ has been incredibly impressive in the Circle since his arrival and has turned it up a notch recently, finishing all three of his last three fights in the opening round. However, he will need a career-best performance to dethrone the ONE bantamweight world champion John Lineker.

Whilst the fight is a huge opportunity for Andrade to beat a legend of the sport in a 5-round fight live on US primetime, standing toe-to-toe with Lineker is far easier said than done.

Despite all of the added pressure that comes with competing for the ONE bantamweight world title, Fabricio Andrade is taking it all in his stride. In a recent interview with Andrew Whitelaw of Asian MMA, the 25-year old explained:

"I work really, really hard. I live for this. My life is about being the best version of myself. So everything I do, I wake up to go train, I eat what I think is going to make me recover better, to have better muscles. After training, when I'm tired, I'm going to do some ice baths. So everything I do is related to fighting and training to get better."

He added:

"I have no distractions right now. Everything I do is to be the best version of myself. And I think that's one of the reasons that I always come to those fights super confident."
