The UFC is known for its ruthless nature. If you aren't putting on great performances inside the cage, you're at risk of being cut from the promotion. Jessica-Rose Clark recently found that out the hard way.

While most strive to find their way back into the company after being released, others look forward to exciting opportunities, with one fan-favorite doing exactly that.

Times are beginning to change in the world of mixed martial arts, and what could be once considered a monopoly is now a competitive battleground of organizations. The UFC remains the top dog in the yard. However, there has been a rise in competition of late with the PFL, Bellator MMA, and ONE Championship all making huge strides.

After a recent flurry of cuts, fan-favorite Jessica-Rose Clark finds herself out of the UFC. Most are often disheartened by the news of being released, but the 35-year-old has insisted that she's looking forward to whatever is next for herself.

She recently took to Twitter and stated:

"Always smiling when I get to spend my days doing what I love. I may not enjoy every training session, some are hard as f*ck, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I love my life, though. And I'm so so so excited for the next chapter!"

After claiming back-to-back wins in the octagon for the first time since 2017, 'Jessy Jess' hit a bad run of form before her UFC release.

Three losses in a row spelled the end for her career in the octagon with each defeat coming by way of submission. Unfortunately, one of the most memorable moments from her time in the organization came when she suffered a horrific arm injury during her loss to Julija Stoliarenko.

What's next for Jessica-Rose Clark following her UFC release?

Jessica-Rose Clark seemingly has her ideas in order and will look to put them into action in the near future.

The women's bantamweight competitor set forward plans to venture into the sport of boxing and hopes her decade-long experience inside the cage can push her toward success in the ring.

Clark is known for her ability on the feet and could be a welcome addition to the boxing world. Like Paige VanZant, Bec Rawlings, and others before her, there could be a spot for her waiting in BKFC.
