Danielle Kelly is asking if you want to see her on a future ONE Championship card in the United States.

The submission grappling superstar is not scheduled for the promotion’s highly anticipated U.S. debut on May 5 but she has every intention of competing on a future ONE Championship card in her home country. Taking to Instagram, Danielle Kelly asked fans if they would like to see her appear the next time ONE heads to the U.S.

“Who would like to see me on a future US card?? 🤔 swipe to see the first US event happening May 5th. really excited for these match ups!!”

Fans immediately flooded the comments section on Kelly’s post, demanding to see the photogenic grappling sensation compete on American soil.

“Need your title shot in the US! 🙏🏼”
“Hell yes! Where’s the petition? I’ll sign it! 👍🏼🫵🏼💪🏼🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥”
“You should be on every card, everyone loves watching you 🤷‍♂️”
“You belong on all the big cards. It's a great way to widen the scope of ONE and give the fans what they want.”

“Yes, I would love to see that. You deserve it. All of your fans will be truly happy for you.🔥🔥”

ONE Championship has not yet announced a second event in the United States, but considering ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5 is already sold out, we anticipate ONE will make their return to the States before long.

Danielle Kelly has no shortage of potential opponents for her return to the cIrcle

Coming off a unanimous decision victory over Ayaka Miura at ONE Fight Night 7, Danielle Kelly has her sights set on a familiar foe for her return to the circle this year. In an interview with ONE Championship, Kelly suggested a long-awaited rematch with SEA Games gold medalist Jessa Khan:

“I had history with her about two years ago, and I felt like I wasn’t really a hundred percent, and I feel like I could compete with other jiu-jitsu people. It’s what I’m used to. It’s more flowy, and we’re the same weight [atomweight]. I’m motivated to get back because I’ve been working hard to get that match and work harder on myself.”

Jessa Khan scored a unanimous decision victory over Danielle Kelly under the Who’s Number One banner in 2021. Kelly has been chomping at the bit to run it back ever since.

Another potential opponent for Kelly is Tammi Musumeci, the older sister of reigning ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci. She made her promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 8, earning a decision victory over ADCC and IBJJF world champion Bianca Basilio.

Musumeci also has a history with Kelly, having squared off with her at a WNO event in 2021. Musumeci defeated Kelly with an arm lock. Both women expressed interest in competing at ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5, but with the event roughly six weeks away, fans will likely have to wait a little longer for that rematch.
