Sam-A Gaiyanghadao is pumped to see all-out brawlers Thongpoon PK Saenchai and Danial Williams do battle at ONE Fight Night 26.
The living legend and former multi-time ONE Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion is a massive fan of both superstars, and it doesn't come off as much of a surprise.
Known for their high-octane approach and willingness to go to war even if their plans misfire, 'Mini T' and the PK Saenchai representative have seen their popularity soar to new heights over the years.
Fellow fighters, like combat sports fans, have also grown to love them for their craft.
With their similar action-packed skill sets crossing paths inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium, Sam-A isn't going to be surprised if this three-round strawweight Muay Thai encounter steals the show on Dec. 6.
Offering his thoughts on this key fixture, Sam-A told Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview:
"Both have aggressive styles, good punchers. I think Thongpoon's boxing skills are better, while Danial is faster. Because Danial has experience fighting in many rules, including kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA."
The pair's clash will be the curtain raiser for ONE Fight Night 26, available to all active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada live in U.S. primetime on Friday, Dec. 6.
Sam-A's glorious 2024 could land him Prajanchai trilogy he wants in 2025
On his end, the former two-sport, two-division ONE world champion's year couldn't have gone any better. He came out of retirement and knocked out Akram Hamidi slightly over a minute into his comeback fight, showcasing that even at 41 years old, he has plenty left in his tank.
The Evolve MMA icon returned with another stellar display at ONE 169 earlier this month, using his technical prowess to easily overcome Zhang Peimian inside the Lumpinee Stadium.
Though nothing is confirmed, it remains very much possible that the striking veteran ould cross paths with reigning two-sport strawweight kingpin Prajanchai PK Saenchai next. He has, after all, done himself justice to re-enter the world title picture off two moments of brilliance inside the Circle.
