WATCH: Former foes Rodtang and Jonathan Haggerty exchange pleasantries backstage at ONE on Prime Video 4

Former rivals 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon and 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty embraced and shook hands. Recently, both of these men fought and won at ONE on Prime Video 4. The two Muay Thai experts have faced each other twice with ONE gold on the line in the past.

On Instagram, ONE Championship shared a clip:

"From foes to friends 🤝[Rodtang Jitmuangnon]⁠ [Jonathan Haggerty]"

The two fighters met in 2019 and 'The Iron Man' was able to capture the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship via decision. They rematched in 2020, with 'The General' seeking revenge, but Rodtang won this clash by way of TKO.

Earlier this year, it seemed the two might potentially meet again while competing in the ONE flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix. Unfortunately, due to weight issues, Haggerty and 'The Iron Man' were forced to withdraw from the tournament. 'The General' went up a weight class and recently made his debut in the bantamweight division of Muay Thai.

Rodtang and Jonathan Haggerty at ONE on Prime Video 4

Jonathan Haggerty made his debut in the bantamweight division when he faced Vladimir Kuzmin at ONE on Prime Video 4. It was a close match, but the British-born fighter walked away with the win.

In his post-fight interview, Haggerty said:

"To be in this organization is a blessing. Thank you everyone for just, everything really. I am overwhelmed. I appreciate everyone for you coming out to support us athletes. Thank you for coming out and I hope I put on a show for you guys. The next one will be better, I promise.”

ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion 'The Iron Man' met strawweight Muay Thai king Joseph Lasiri at the same event. Over five rounds, the Thai-born athlete battered and dominated his opponent.

In his post-fight interview, the 25-year-old Muay Thai phenom said:

“First of all, I want to apologize to fans all over the world about the last fight. I cannot make it. This time, I hope I do not disappoint anybody about this fight. I have been a champion for a long time. I feel like I have improved much. I will continue to entertain my fans around the world.”
