Francis Ngannou, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion, spent some time buying fruit and vegetables at a local market in Tonga. Ngannou was in the archipelago to celebrate New Year's. Following his successful title defense at UFC 270, he underwent knee surgery that sidelined the Cameroonian for the remainder of the year. He will now look to make his next title defense in 2023.The champion is currently enjoying some downtime as he recovers from surgery to make his comeback to the octagon.
