Francis Ngannou recalls meeting soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo

Francis Ngannou recently opened up about his meeting with soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ngannou uploaded a video to his YouTube channel where he described meeting the European soccer legend and what their conversation was like. He mentioned that it was great meeting Ronaldo in person in Saudi Arabia and complimented him on his global appeal.

He said:

"Meeting Cristiano [Ronaldo] in Saudi [Arabia] was great. You know, he's the biggest star in the world and have to meet him in person, and have an opportunity to share some quality time with him." [0:56 - 1:11]

He noted that 'CR7' is very knowledgeable about fighting and is a fan of MMA. He mentioned that he was honored that the 2016 Euro Cup winner knew about him and his story, saying:

"And find out how huge of a fan of the sport he is was very interesting. You know, make me very excited and happy about it. And I was very honored that he knows me, he happen to knows me and some stuff about me, about fighting. He knows a lot about fighting though, a lot than you can even imagine." [1:13 - 1:41]

It will be interesting to see if Ngannou and Ronaldo's paths cross again in the future or if the soccer legend will attend one of the 'The Predator's next fight.

Francis Ngannou responds to Dana White's claims that he will never fight in the UFC again

Francis Ngannou recently fired back at Dana White after he claimed that he will never fight in the UFC again.

While speaking with ESPN MMA's Brett Okamoto, 'The Predator' spoke about his future in combat sports and responded to White's comments during his UFC 285 media availabilities. He mentioned that he isn't concerned with what the UFC President thinks about his decision to decline their contract offers.

He said:

"Hey, I don't care what Dana White say. That was my call, not his call. So, he has to make his own amends with that. I made my amends, I'm good so wish him to do the same." [3:32 - 3:45]

'The Predator' is believed to be competing in a boxing bout next, so it will be interesting to see where he continues his MMA career.
