Former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou shared his experience of watching a football match for the first time at Old Trafford. Manchester United F.C. faced off against Bodø/Glimt on Friday, November 29, 2024, as part of the UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United beat Bodø/Glimt 3-2 and secured their first victory under new manager Ruben Amorim. This win helped them to move up in the rankings to 12th position.
TNT Sports caught up with the reigning PFL heavyweight champion after the match. When asked about his first visit to Old Trafford and the game, Ngannou shared:
"It was a good game. We had fun, there was a lot of action. It was my first time [at Old Trafford]—a very good experience, and we got the victory.”
A few moments later, ‘The Predator’ praised his friend and Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana.
"He had a great game. Even though he took a yellow card for free—I can tell you, the yellow card was for free—but he had a really good game. I think he was the man of the game.”
