Reigning undisputed ONE featherweight MMA world champion Tang Kai made quick work of Japanese veteran contender Ryogo Takahashi in their bout at ONE ONE: Fists of Fury II in March 2021.
Tang only needed one round to score a finish against Takahashi and the world's largest martial arts organization published the full fight replay on their YouTube channel, with the video's description:
"Featherweight sluggers THREW DOWN as Japanese warrior Ryogo Takahashi faced Chinese star Tang Kai at ONE: FISTS OF FURY II!"

The Chinese knockout artist set up a clinical one-two punch combination that landed on Takahashi's chin and quickly downed him on the canvas. Tang wasted no time and put the finishing touches with more punches on his opponent's head.
This forced the referee to call a stoppage into the action and during the official announcement of the winner, the damage was visible on Takahashi's nose, as he was left bloodied.
It was Tang Kai's fourth straight victory under the promotion after previously beating Sung Jong Lee in January 2019 at ONE: Hero's Ascent, Edward Kelly in November 2019 at ONE: Age of Dragons, and Keanu Subba in October 2020 at ONE: Reign of Dynasties II.
Tang Kai scheduled for his second world title defense at ONE Fight Night 27
Following his third-round TKO finish of Thanh Le in their championship rematch last March at ONE 166: Qatar, the Sunkin International Fight Club representative will be defending his 26-pound golden belt against undefeated challenger Akbar Abdullaev in the main event of ONE Fight Night 27 on Jan. 10.
Tang not only intends to fend off the challenge from the Kyrgyz powerhouse but also keep his own immaculate record intact and extend his win streak to nine. He currently holds a perfect 8-0 win-loss card with a 63 percent finish rate.
