Rodtang Jitmuangnon's stellar defense of the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship against then-ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Joseph Lasiri in November 2022 still stands as one of his best outings in ONE Championship.

Lasiri repeatedly attempted to break through Rodtang's guard with various strikes but was rewarded with crushing counters and an onslaught of combinations from 'The Iron Man', who went on to win via unanimous decision.

Upending Lasiri's bid at two-division dominance marked Rodtang's fourth successful defense of the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship. This victory also gave him his 12th win under the ONE banner.

In May 2023, Mexican star Edgar Tabares sought to end Rodtang's reign over the 135-pound Muay Thai division at ONE Fight Night 10. The Jitmuangnon Gym star instead turned his lights out with a monstrous knockout in the second round.

Rodtang will have his sixth defense of the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship against Jacob Smith at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8 inside the State Farm Arena.

Rodtang enlists help of sports and wellness clinic ahead of ONE 169

Despite Rodtang's familiarity with Jacob Smith's fighting style after defeating him in May 2022, the 27-year-old is not taking his chances ahead of their world title tilt at ONE 169: Atlanta.

Taking to his personal Instagram account, Rodtang recently shared that he has been working on all aspects of his game under the guidance of a sports and wellness clinic in Bangkok, Thailand.
