ONE Friday Fights 6 looks set to continue the tradition of premier martial arts action at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, and the card’s main event is already brimming with storylines.

Kongthoranee Sor Sommai and Gingsanglek Tor Lakson will headline the stacked card that features Muay Thai, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts.

The two fighters are already familiar with each other, having fought into a 1-1 stalemate, and their meeting at ONE Friday Fights 6 will be the one to break their tie.

If things couldn’t get any more dramatic, Kongthoranee and Gingsanglek are making their ONE Championship debuts in front of the Lumpinee faithful.

Petmanee Sor Jaruwan, who owns a win over Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai, and Khunharnlek Singha Mawynn are slated for a Muay Thai contest at a catchweight of 141 pounds in the card’s co-main event.

Khunsueklek Boomdeksean will take on Koko Sor Sommai in an atomweight Muay Thai bout while Petsaenkom Yaicheyseafood will face Yodprabsuk Sor Ninthai in a 133lb catchweight tussle.

Padetuk Fairtex will face Johan Ghazali in a flyweight Muay Thai match which will be preceded by the atomweight Muay Thai bout between Yoddoi Kaewsamrit and Chokdee Maxjandee.

Former ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Ilias Ennahachi will make his return at ONE Friday Fights 6 when he faces Aliasghar Ghodratisaraskan in his bantamweight debut.

Bogdan Shumarov will feature in the night’s other kickboxing match when he faces Marwen Houli in a lightweight contest while Brogan Stewart-Ng will take on Riccardo Catindig-Stagg in a bantamweight MMA tussle.

Hercules For Chakrawut takes on Shingo Shibata in a bantamweight Muay Thai match in the night’s second contest while Celeste Hansen and Angela Chang’s atomweight Muay Thai bout will open the card

Kongthoranee and Gingsanglek promise fireworks at ONE Friday Fights 6

Gingsanglek and Kongthoranee are more than eager to prove their worth in ONE Championship’s stacked Muay Thai roster, and their promotional debut at ONE Friday Fights 6 couldn’t get any more important.

The headlining bout presents them an opportunity to break their 1-1 tie, and the two Thai strikers are certain they’ll put on a show.

Kongthoranee, in an interview with ONE Championship, said:

"I’m probably going to use the same hit-and-move style. I think this fight will be fun to watch. I plan to use my hands to knock Gingsanglek out to receive the [performance] bonus money like my teammates at Sor Sommai camp.”

Gingsanglek, meanwhile, told the promotion:

“The most important thing is that the smaller gloves mean higher risk, so I hope I can knock him out in our rubber match. This fight will end our trilogy. I’ll go all-out so there’s nothing left for us.”
