Green had previously teased his plans to change his name last April ahead of his UFC Fight Night 222 bout against Jared Gordon, which he originally won via first-round knockout before the ruling was overturned to a no-contest due to an accidental clash of heads. While the process seemingly took over a year - provided that he began things around the time he announced his plans - the No.15-ranked lightweight was finally able to complete the name change.
