Christian Lee became a two-division MMA world champion when he defeated Kiamrian Abbasov in their ONE welterweight MMA world championship showdown in November 2022 at ONE on Prime Video 4, which went down inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

ONE Championship recently looked back at this ground-breaking achievement when they published several highlights of the match on their Instagram account.

They wrote the post's caption with:

"Champion energy 😎👌 Will Chritian Lee hold onto the ONE Lightweight MMA World Title when he faces off with undefeated challenger Alibeg Rasulov at ONE Fight Night 26 on @primevideo? @christianleemma"

'The Warrior' weathered the early onslaught from 'Brazen' and used his grappling skills to score a TKO victory in the waning seconds of the fourth round to capture his second 26-pound golden belt.

Fans all over the world have nothing but praise for the Singaporean-American sensation, as users @overdosehighdef, @limktg_7132, @jawid_q786, and @xuevang414 sent their reactions through their comments:

Christian Lee lauds upcoming challenger Alibeg Rasulov as a well-rounded fighter

Following that triumph over Abbasov, Lee went on a two-year hiatus, but now, he is ready to make a grand return when he defends his ONE lightweight MMA crown against undefeated challenger Alibeg Rasulov.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, the Prodigy MMA Centre representative praised his Turkish opponent for being a complete martial artist, as he stated:

"I think that in some ways, we're actually similar fighters. I see him as a well-rounded mixed martial artist."

North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription can watch all the action at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6, which will take place inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
