Henry Cejudo and Kevin Holland engaged in a hilarious exchange on Instagram after 'Trailblazer' mocked the former UFC double champion's height.

It all began when Cejudo posted an image on Instagram with his wife, Ana Karolina, claiming that he's already accomplished a great deal in his life. 'Triple C' further added that the only thing missing in the frame is a freshly minted UFC championship strap that Cejudo aims to drape across his left shoulder:

"I’ve reached all heights in life, only thing missing is my new championship belt draping across my left shoulder! #andnew"

Among the several fans who poked fun at Cejudo for his short stature was UFC welterweight contender Kevin Holland, who teased the former two-division champion in the comments section:

"And some heels 👠 my guy."

Cejudo retaliated with a snappy wisecrack, questioning why he would need heels since he has an excellent takedown defense. The riposte was made with the clear intention of belittling Holland's grappling abilities, a department in which he has struggled in the past:

"@trailblaze2top why would I need heels 👠 if I have good takedown defense? Champ sh*t only"

Holland was not impressed by the comeback and continued to take shots at Henry Cejudo's stature:

"@henry_cejudo 😂worse comeback ever but good stuff minion… I meant double champ. Never knew it was so easy to get offended down there where you stand."

The lengthy exchange culminated with Cejudo wishing Holland a streak of luck ahead of his fight against Stephen Thompson at UFC Orlando:

"@trailblaze2top Good luck on Saturday, I’ll be front row. Don’t get taken down by Wonderboy, I hear he has world class wrestling. I’m cheering for you."

Kevin Holland reflects on his short-lived retirement following a loss to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279

MMA fans were stunned by the news that Kevin Holland had retired from the sport following his first-round submission loss to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279, which took place in September this year.

Holland played a significant role in saving the card when Chimaev's botched weight cut forced the card to be rejigged. Shortly after the loss, Holland announced his retirement. Even UFC president Dana White urged 'Trailblazer' to take some time off and not make any hasty decisions.

During a recent interview with 'The Schmo', Kevin Holland claimed that it was indeed the offer to fight Stephen Thompson that changed his mind:

“I was sitting on the couch, I was chilling, I was in my retirement mode and they said I was going to fight ‘Wonderboy’ and I was like, ‘Alright, we’re locked back in.’ It was a wonderful thing. I was pretty happy to get something wonderful and magnificent like I asked for, so that’s nice.”
