Freddie Haggerty is already considered one of the top prospects in the world's largest martial arts organization today. But instead of looking at potential opponents that are currently on his level, the 20-year-old Knowlesy Academy / Team Underground fighter wants to face a certain legend in the ring.
That man is none other than Thai icon and former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao. Speaking to the South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Haggerty talked about how much he wants to face the former divisional kingpin.

"We've been talking about it for ages, Jon and I. I've been saying like, it'd be an honor to fight Sam-A. Not that I just want to go and fight him, just because Jon, it'd be an absolute honor to fight Sam-A, and the form he's been on at the minute to beat him while he's in that form would be amazing for me, because it shows I'm on that level, I can compete with the best."
Needless to say, a showdown between the young Haggerty and the veteran Sam-A would be absolute fireworks and one that fans would love to see.
