Bryce Mitchell and Sean O'Malley recently engaged in a Twitter feud revolving around 'Sugar's UFC 280 clash against Petr Yan. O'Malley accused Mitchell's family of incest after 'Thug Nasty' said that the bantamweight star was undeserving of his clash against Yan.

Mitchell was asked to weigh in on O'Malley's comments during an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA. The featherweight standout sternly said:

"Ya, he called me inbred... You know, I'm gonna deal with that when I see him."

Mitchell was also asked if he fancied the idea of a clash against O'Malley in the future. According to 'Thug Nasty', a move up to featherweight is inevitable for 'Sugar' in the future considering his height (5ft 11in). When that happens, Mitchell believes they'll clash. The 28-year-old told James Lynch:

"He's six-foot something tall... He needs to move up a weight class. And I do believe that we're gonna clash."

'Thug Nasty' predicted that Yan would beat O'Malley in a clash that 'Sugar' was undeserving of in the first place. Reacting to Mitchell's comments in the aftermath of his victory over 'No Mercy', O'Malley said:

“Your dad f***ed his sister to make you.”

Bryce Mitchell weighs in on Sean O'Malley vs. Petr Yan

Contrary to the expectations of many others like Bryce Mitchell, Sean O'Malley upset the odds by edging out a split decision against Petr Yan at UFC 280. While many deemed it controversial, O'Malley undeniably proved that he belongs in the upper echelons of the bantamweight division.

Mitchell joined a long list of fighters who disagreed with O'Malley's decision win over Yan. However. 'Thug Nasty' also admitted to having watched the fight only once and without keeping scores in his head. The featherweight standout also couldn't deny being thoroughly entertained by the spectacle. The 28-year-old added (13:35):

"I only watched it once. Maybe if I rewatched it, I wouldn't have the same opinion. I don't know. But I thought that Yan won. I thought he won every round but I was just watching it more just cause it was exciting, you know. I wasn't even thinking. I wasn't even trying to keep score. It was exciting. I was thoroughly entertained by the fight. But I just remember after the fight having this overwhelming sense of confidence that Yan won."
